A bit
About me
I am 50 mumble, have formalised my counselling in the past 3 years. Prior to that I spent the majority of my time working in sawmilling and associated industries. I have spent my down time with organisations such as Rural Fire, Land Search and Rescue,Royal New Zealand Naval Volunteer Reserves, Rotorua Lakes Volunteer Coastguard. Work wise I have filled in spare time with working in a bottle store, restaurants and my personal favourite, a fishing guide in Rotorua.
These days i make the most of what Blenheim and Marlborough has to offer. I enjoy fishing and snorkeling in the Marlborough Sounds, racing Homing Pigeons and building model aeroplanes.(you can see my collection at the office)
As you can see I have had a broad range of life experiences and I am told that I can connect well with people.

What I won't do for you
I won’t tell you that life is rainbows and butterfly’s when it is not! Life is and can be tough and sometimes we need support to work through it. That is my role, to support you. It is up to you to do the work.
How will I do it for you?
I will use your expertise in your life, and my training to help you develop strategies that will move your life in a direction that matters to you.
Will we make a great team?

Support people?
A support person is welcome to join us if this help you feel more comfortable. I would appreciate prior notice (might need to find an extra chair)
When will I do it?
The process begins as soon as you click the button on the next section to e-mail me, or as soon as you call or text The Purple Guy. The untangling process has begun, it won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. Trust the process.
What are my fees?
For 1:1 my fee is $85.00 per session.
Each session lasts approximately 45-50 minutes.
For relationship(couples) my fee is $120 per session
Each session last approximatly 60-90 minutes.

Conditions of service
- If you are unable to attend an agreed appointment please contact me and rebook. – No charge
- If you do not attend (DNA) without contacting me, I will endeavour to contact you within 24hrs. I reserve the right to seek payment for non-attendance.
- After 2 consecutive DNA’s your file will be closed and you will be invoiced for money owing.
